I have no paddle
Yet I'm trapped in this boat.

And this battle I must fight
To tell you I love you
Or leave this very night

I can't dare to think
Of the thought of you.
You're in my soul,
A dream come true.

Your freaky ways
Always light my fire
But the slow drip of sanity
Douses my desire

But you don't love
Anyone one like me
I'm just the friend
Forever to be.

Nothing more
Those shoes are filled
And I'm just a fake
In a closet sealed.

So you just keep
On lighting world
Looking to men
To be their girl

I'm a sitting duck
